Large form printing

Large form printing is a printing method used in large-format plotters using pigment-based inks. It allows you to plot basically any large-format image on different substrates. All prints are made with the utmost care and attention, we compete with other printers in the field of the quality of our products.

We have two large-format solvent plotters:

  • printing-cutting, net print width, 135 cm
  • printing, net print width, 165 cm

Printing-cutting plotter allows you to print and cut the contour, so-called OPOS. This is very useful when producing eg. stickers, irregularly shaped graphics Large form printing can by refined and secured using lamination. We have hot-laminating machine, with laminating width of 100 cm. A plotter for cutting self-adhesive foil may be a supplement to the equipment intended for large form printing, with the cutting net width of 76 cm. This plotter used to cut vector graphics.

We print on the following substrates:

  • monomeric foil: flat surfaces, car wraps, billboards,
  • cast foil: spherical surfaces, ribbed
  • OWV foil: perforated foil, shop window glass, car windows
  • Banner: laminated or coated
  • blockout: PVC fabric with a black interleaf inside, non-translucent, for example, roll-ups
  • paper: 135 g / m2, posters
  • mesh grid: perforated, to large, free-standing implementation,
  • canvas: fabric with texture, which imitates canvas, ideal for reproductions, art prints,
  • Wallpaper: smooth, structured, wallpaper with a photo of your choice.

Printout price largely depends on printing resolution, in this case on the number of printed 'belts' - the individual graphic element. Characteristics of printing resolution

  • two belts: low resolution, only for large dimensions of prints visible from a distance; billboards, mesh,
  • four belts: average resolution, graphics for billboards, informative boards, vehicles, designs without small elements
  • eight belts: high resolution: posters, artwork on billboards, informative, vehicles, projects with small details

In order to prevent a large-format printout from scratches and increase resistance to ultraviolet rays, we use lamination. It can be liquid or solid. Liquid laminating consists in covering a large format print out with liquid laminate onto the substrate using a roller or brush. A much more effective method of securing printing is solid lamination using a laminator. Depending on the substrate a laminate can be monomeric, polymeric or cast.

A complementation of solvent printing / printing large-format graphics is cutting the foil in a required colour. We offer cutting the monomeric, cast, reflective, decorative foil.
